Compensation Valve
IN NEGATIVE TEMPERATURE COLD ROOMS
Pressure relief valves are essential for maintaining pressure balance between the inside and outside of cold rooms. When warm air enters the cold room during door openings, closings, or defrosting periods, it can disrupt the pressure balance. This imbalance can cause damage to panels, doors, and other components due to the pressure differences.
To mitigate this, pressure relief valves are used. These valves are made from highly durable plastic materials, suitable for use in temperatures as low as -40°C. They feature electrical heaters to prevent freezing, ensuring reliable operation even in extreme cold conditions. The valves protect the cold room’s structural integrity by allowing controlled pressure equalization, safeguarding the room and its components from potential damage caused by pressure fluctuations.
